2009 GRANTS:

• Assisted a homeless hospice patient in Columbia, SC with Multiple Sclerosis obtain clothing & lodging
• Provided an expensive, much needed, Bariatric Chair to a hospice patient with Heart Disease
• Built & paid for access ramps for an elderly hospice patient who had significant mobility issues
• Medical Mission Trip to San, Pedro Guatemala

This "boutique" style thrift store has a wide variety of "gently worn" adult, children and baby clothing, shoes, home interior and decor items, furniture , electronics, games and much more. Also local retail stores have donated NEW clothes that are priced at bargain prices.

Donations are accepted and we offer free pick up on all large items.  Please call us at 803. 794.3669 to arrange.

ALL proceeds benefit Hands of Hospice non profit company. Hands of Hospice supports companies that serve the needs of the terminally ill and grieving patients of all ages. Our foundation advances hospice care by providing grants for indigent patients.

On Saturday February 7, 2009 from 10:00am-2:00pm the Hands of Hospice Thrift Store will hold its Grand Opening Celebration.  The Thrift Store is located at 1175 Sunset Blvd in West Columbia.  We will have door prizes, light refreshments, and some wonderful specials. The Hands of Hospice Thrift Store offers a different kind of shopping experience. We hope to see you there!  

Regular Store Hours for the Thrift Store are Monday- Friday 10:00am-5:00pm and the 1st Saturday of each month from 10:00am-2:00pm.   We gladly accept donations and offer a tax receipt for all clothing, household items, toys, furniture, pots & pans, books, dishes, records, jewerly, lamps, shoes, hats, pocketbooks, etc. We also offer free pick up for large items too!
